HF Test Set
Special notice about the 4SQRP HF Test Set kit: We are currently pre-selling for a possible production run, however if there are not enough orders received by May 30th (after Dayton hamvention), we will cancel the project and return all uncashed checks. We would like to make the kit available again, but only if there is sufficient interest to make it practical to proceed. Click here to see if you are on the order list. The kit includes all onboard components. The builder will provide the enclosure, the connectors and controls. Only through-hole parts are used in this kit, no SMT parts to solder. This is not a complex project, so beginning builders should be able to successfully complete the project. Each individual test set unit can be built and tested before proceeding on to the next unit. See assembly manual download on this page. The TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer) requires an external oscilloscope for this function to be utilized. The TDR can be used to test coaxial transmission lines and will determine the distance to a fault. | |
| This test set will make a handy addition to the QRP'ers work bench. |
Price: $50 (Canada and DX is $55) shipping included.
Availability: The initial batch of kits have been sold. From this point onward, we are pre-selling for the next run. What this means is that we will hold your check till we determine if there is enough interest to do another production run. Should there not be enough interest, your uncashed check will be returned.
The cut-off date for orders is May 30, 2009. If there are insufficient orders received by then, the uncashed checks will be returned and the project will be canceled.
